Stop Getting Cans From The Store And Make This Instead!

At my house, we LOVE Mexican food. I make it at least once a week, sometimes even more. Tacos, burritos, nachos, enchiladas, all kinds of stuff. Now that we have a bigger family, the basic recipe isn’t always enough to fill everyone up. That’s when I started looking for sides like rice and beans to add to the plate. That way everyone gets some of the main entree, but nobody walks away hungry. I used to buy the refried beans in the can, until I found this recipe on All Recipes.

I had never even considered making my own beans. I didn’t seem like something that would change the flavor a whole lot. I mean, beans are beans, right? Not so much! These were so much better!

There was never a time that I ate beans all by themselves. I didn’t really care for them all that much. Now that I make them this way though, if there are leftovers, I’ll munch on them for a snack! Delicious!
