You Can’t Hatch These Easter Egg Cookies, But You Can Enjoy Munching On Them

Easter is still a few weeks away, but I am already thinking of activities for the kids. Every Easter, my brother and his family, and a few of our friends get together in the house to have an Easter Egg hunting activity. It has been our tradition ever since we started our families. Since they only live a few blocks away, we always gather in one house and allow our children to enjoy the celebration. This year, it will be my husband and I’s turn to host it; so we’ve been planning for it since the start of the year.

One of the best things we love about celebrating Easter is the food of course. All food speak of sweetness and richness since it’s a true celebration that signifies more than just the colorful food. Most of the ones the others bring are desserts, so I usually just make dessert.

I found a recipe over at Always Order Dessert that are perfect for the occasion. It’s called Easter Egg Cookies. I tried these cookies just a few days ago and the reaction of my family made me decide that they are perfect for the occasion.

I can’t wait to see the eyes of the kids when they see these colorful and amazing cookies. No one will be able to resist them. Other than the fact that they look beautiful, they taste great too.

Quick Tip: These keep well for about 1-2 days, but being cake, they tend to get a little stale any longer than that.
