Get The Best Of Both Worlds In This Heaven And Hell Cake

Talking with your kids is one of the most amazing experiences as a parent, isn’t it? Kids have the biggest imaginations. And since they are still exploring the world through their limited vision, they tend to imagine what’s beyond their limits. My husband and I are often at the receiving end of such witty questions, and we can’t help but feel proud of our kids. I am pretty sure you feel the same towards your kids or your grandchildren.

There was this one time when the two of them fought over something. I never did get to find out what because I was concerned for both of them. They approached me, crying, but neither was blaming each other.

One of them just said, “we fought, Momma” and left it at that. The other one remained silent and just continued to cry. I’m just glad that they never hurt each other so it must have been about a toy or their art materials.

I had to pacify them and told them a made-up story about brothers who always fought, teaching them the difference between good and bad. By the end of the story, their tears had subsided and they embraced each other. Soon, they were playing as if nothing had happened.

That little fight between the twins reminds me of this Heaven and Hell cake from Whisk Kid. Except that in this cake, the line between good and bad is blurred. This cake is just too sinful and heavenly at the same time.
