Welcome Spring With A Bang Through This Lemon Chiffon Cake

Spring is in the air and that means one thing- another season, another beginning. My husband and I look at seasons this way- we always look back on the past quarter and see what we have accomplished. Our next steps are always dependent on what we haven’t done yet. For the two of us, each season is like a new year- it’s our chance to accomplish things we haven’t accomplished in the past few months. This way, we can still further our goals and create new ones along the way.

Spring is my third favorite season- it speaks of freshness and development. As the plants bloom, my hope for better days blooms too. There’s just something special about Spring that will make you feel this way.

We welcomed the season this year with a bang- I made lemon chiffon cake for my family. It’s the best way to celebrate the new months to come. Lemon means freshness; spring means new beginnings.

My family and I enjoyed this amazing cake during one peaceful afternoon. We each had a slice, pairing it with our favorite drinks. As usual, I had my coffee with my cake, my husband had tea with his, and my sons had their milk.

It was a relaxing afternoon with the ones I love, enjoying the dawn of the new season and a piece of lemony sweet goodness.
