Now This Is The Cake That Will Make You Happy All Year Round

What I love most during a relaxing weekend is the silly conversations I have with my husband. During weekdays, we are usually in our “business mode” because we have to be serious about work. We always loosen up whenever it’s weekend and we just relax as if we don’t have the care in the world. With our kids beside us, we are probably the most content parents on a weekend. Our kids and no work just make us feel relaxed more than what we’ve ever felt. We often cherish this type of moment because it only happens during weekends.

Silly conversations usually involve unusual questions and answers. It will always start with one of us, and then we’ll just keep exchanging questions and answers. The sillier the question is, the more profound the answer is going to be.

Last time, we were relaxing in the living room when he bolted out his question: “do you think it’s possible to have a shoes for all seasons?” When I asked him what he meant, he told me he wouldn’t mind having only one pair of shoes if they transform into boots during winter. Even without any further explanation, I understood what he meant.

This apple buttermilk cake reminds me of that conversation. I found out that you can use any type of fruit that’s in season for this recipe. The cake adapts to the season and that’s really convenient!

You have to try this and tell me what you feel about this!
