Especially a pound cake that takes after a pecan pie. Seriously, I don’t think this dessert can get any better. You truly get the best of both worlds in this cake. The cake itself is moist and flavorful and the icing is a real sweet treat. I could never tire of eating this heavenly cake and I don’t think you will, either. I love covering it in vanilla or butter pecan ice cream. So good!
Surprisingly, this yummy cake is very easy to make. It’s also very pretty. However, it isn’t too pretty to eat as my grandma likes to say.
