Chicken pot pie is comfort food at its best.
I cannot beleive how quickly summer flew by, can you? The air is so cold this morning. I looked at the temperature and it is actually 48 degrees! That’s just crazy to me. Welp, it’s time to get my fall cooking list going and I can tell you right now that this heritage chicken pot pie is right at the top. Nothing beats savory, piping hot, filling chicken pot pie on a cool afternoon. My husband actually requested this little beauty.
Normally, he isn’t much of a casserole kind of guy but when it comes to chicken pot pie he is ready to eat! He told me that his mother used to make a killer chicken pot pie when he was growing up. I guess I have some big shoes to fill!
