Cheesy Sausage Pigs In A Blanket: Perfect For Your Breakfast Table

When I went to my favorite cousins house last summer for our yearly vacation, it didn’t take too long to become overwhelmed with all the little ones running around. I have two kids, but they have five. So my generally pretty calm crew suddenly turned into a raging elementary school, or at least that’s what it seemed like. I felt instantly like it was going to be the longest week of my life. I always forget what it’s like to have so many people trying to live under one roof, even if it is just temporary.

I know that one way to keep everyone settled, at least for a little while, is by filling them up. I had a recipe from Julie’s Eats & Treats for cheesy sausage pigs in a blanket that I was holding on to for a special morning breakfast. I whipped them up one morning while everyone was still sleeping. It was actually quite relaxing.

When everyone finally made their way to the table, I was worried that I hadn’t made enough. These things started flying off the serving tray in seconds. Good thing I had extra ingredients on reserve to make more!
