You Won’t Believe What They Put In This Turkey Chili To Make It Special!

Sometimes I take an hour break from work, dress my kids up, and have a walk with them around the neighborhood. There are just those moments when you want to take a walk with your kids to clear your head and relax a little. Our neighborhood really looks beautiful in the afternoon. The breeze is cool and the sky has that caramel orange look, preparing everyone for a glorious sunset. Most of our neighbors are sitting in their front porches by this time, waiting for the sun to set. My kids and I usually receive a lot of greetings every time we take a walk.

A few days ago, while we were strolling, one of our neighbors invited us to come over. Marie is that sweet Grandma a few houses away from us who used to babysit for me and my husband. My kids were too happy to see her so I obliged and accepted her invitation.

Marie made us tea and served cakes to the boys. We talked a bit and I listened to her wholeheartedly until I found myself distracted by what she’s cooking. It turned out to be turkey chili.

I found myself craving for chili when we went home and I made it the next day, much to my husband’s delight and amusement. I used this turkey chili recipe from Food Network because it has that secret ingredient that added something to the chili. You want to know what that is-please flip over to the next page.
