Probably The Most Flavorful Cassoulet That Will Ever Graze Your Mouth

My family is a huge fan of flavorful but simple stews. Just like soup recipes, stews give us that comfortable feeling that allows us to relax and just enjoy meal times. It warms us from within, allowing us to feel content while we’re eating and resting. As a kid, stews were my favorite food. I always try to race my brother to the dining room whenever Mom announced dinner.  Who wouldn’t hurry up when you have this type of food waiting for you to devour?

I have a lot of stew recipes ranging from beef to chicken; from lamb to veal; and from pork to mutton. Still, my family’s favorite has to be stews made with beef. Beef is just too perfect as the main ingredient for stews because of its flavor.

It doesn’t mean chicken will lose to beef though. In fact, I found this sausage and chicken cassoulet recipe from My Recipes. It transforms stew into something more flavorful and heavier on the stomach.

When I made this for my family, my husband only has one word to describe it: satisfying. And I can’t blame him for saying such a thing because it’s an incredibly flavored recipe that’s simple to make. You don’t have to labor all day in the kitchen just for this.

Grab a copy of this recipe on the next page so you can try this for your family. You will not regret this, I promise. Nothing this tasty is ever regretful.

Quick Tip: Check your cookware information to make sure your skillet’s handle is ovenproof up to 400° or higher. If not–just prepare it in a traditional skillet and then bake in a casserole dish that holds 2 1/4 to 3 quarts.
