Start Your Weekend Off The Right Way With This Pretty Pecan Praline Cake

If this doesn’t make your mouth water, I don’t know what will!

When I am craving for nuts, I usually crave badly. That means I need to have nuts in everything I drink or eat for that day or else I will be in a somber mood. The last time I craved for almond, I made an almond drink that satisfied my craving the whole day. I stored them in those recycled bottles and I drank them the whole week. I also made cookies and made a pasta with almonds on it. I pretty much have crazy cravings that my husband has been tolerating since we got together in college.

But the story about this pecan praline cake wasn’t due to my cravings-it’s actually due to my husband’s cravings. He got home one night from a coffee shop meeting with his boss. He told me he had the most delicious praline coffee and he started craving for it badly.

That weekend, I finally relented and made him this pecan praline cake which I got from Whisk Kid website. They have a lot of other desserts in there that you might want to try for your family. Anyway, this praline cake will drive your crazy in a good way because of all of its flavors!

You have to try this for your family. Believe me when I say that this will definitely steal your family’s hearts and attention. You can grab a full copy of this recipe on the next page.

Quick Tip: For the brown sugar fudge: This stuff tastes great but sets up pretty quickly. Wait until you are ready to frost the cake to make it. Make sure that your cakes are ready/cooled when you start, and have one resting on your cake plate so you can pour the finished fudge on top.
