Oatmeal Makeover Alert: Enjoy These Iced Caramel Toffee Oatmeal Cookies!

These iced caramel toffee oatmeal cookies are so sinful you will not be able to resist them. Believe me, I tried! And I am still unsuccessful until now. Oatmeal cookies are a family tradition. It’s probably one of the cookies that I keep making and placing in the cookie jar. Mom has a recipe for them, an old recipe that she inherited from my grandmother. It’s probably the only recipe that she didn’t alter simply because it’s the most classic of all classics! My twin boys love them so much most especially with milk. They don’t like oatmeal much, that I can attest to, but when it’s in cookies, they don’t particularly care. I make huge oatmeal cookies so I only give those two a cookie each. Sometimes, when their puppy dog eyes work on me, I give them another.

This iced caramel toffee oatmeal cookies recipe is a new take on the classic oatmeal cookies that will surely make your family addicted. I found this recipe while I was scouring for another cookie recipe that my family will like. When I saw this, I thought, “why not?” I might not be a fan of toffees, but certain recipes are worth trying. And I am glad I did because this is a winner recipe! The new flavors taste so good on the classic oatmeal cookie that I felt like my family doesn’t want to go back to the classic. The first time I served this to may family, my husband devoured half a dozen in one sitting. And my twin boys had two each! And still they couldn’t get enough of it! This will be a hit, I tell yah! A copy of this recipe can be found on the next page for you to try. Enjoy!
