What Is Pepsi Cola Good For? Making Pot Roast!

So, the other day my good friend and neighbor, sally, came over to have coffee with me. She brought us some homemade doughnuts from the little Amish store up the road. These doughnuts are amazing, guys and gals. I don’t know how they make them and I really don’t care, either just as long as they keep on making them. Sally brought me a cream filled doughnut as she knows those are my favorite and she got herself a sugared fried cake. So good withy our coffee!

Anyway, sal and I started talking about the weirdest recipes we had ever come across. Sally told me that she saw a recipe for Pepsi pot roast. I was all, “Say what?” Apparently, you pour a 12 oz. can of Pepsi cola over your roast and let it simmer in the Crock Pot for several hours. It is supposed to come out tasting fabulous. So, that night, I went to the grocery store, got the goods, and made the Pepsi pot roast for dinner the next day. Wow! was I ever surprised at how good it turned out! Some say you can also use Coke if you aren’t a Pepsi fan. Enjoy!

if have ever put coke or pepsi in a glass with a penny or used it to clean battery cables then you know pepsi and coke break down rust and corrosion, so it acts as a meat tenderizer for those sinewy cheaper cuts of meat
