The Best Crème Brulee You’ll Ever Taste

Bowie was one of my friend’s sons. I only met him just a few days back because my friend Mina came to town for business. Bowie was a cute little boy with a toothless grin (his front teeth are still missing). He’s quite very talkative too which was why after their short visit to me, I already knew how much he loved crème brulee and was sad that his mother didn’t know how to make one. Well, Mina’s a very nice woman, but she’s not the type to cook. She grew up being pampered by her older sisters. Now that she’s married to a businessman, I doubt that she even tried to learn how to cook.

The day before they left, I invited them for lunch. I have my Mom’s crème brulee recipe with me, which was something that I always take out whenever I was in dire need to impress someone. I cooked crème brulee for him and Bowie swore to marry me one day when he grew up. Mina asked for the recipe from me and I had to disappoint her because it’s a family recipe. I instead led her to this site where a wonderful crème brulee recipe was shared. You would want to try this. It’s one heck of a crème brulee recipe!

Quick Tip: Separate the eggs and whisk the yolks after the cream has finished steeping; if let to sit, the surface of the yolks will dry and form a film.
