Make Way For Danica’s German Chocolate Cake, The Cake Royalty!

My latest addiction is called the German chocolate cake. I first tasted it at a party of one of my friends. She invited me along with my family to catch up. It was a simple party, thrown just for friends and their families. So it was quite a big party but a bit personal at the same time. Everyone knows everyone. Even our kids know each other. It was quite a happy reunion. I even told my husband that maybe we could throw a similar one soon for our other set of friends. Maybe just not as elegant as this party because Danica and her husband are known to throw fancy parties all the time. Simple, yes; but also very fancy. Even the decorations are obviously done by a professional.

This German chocolate cake was just placed at the dessert table. There were so many cakes there actually; cakes that I hadn’t even tasted before. There were little cards in front of the all the food just in case we didn’t recognize the dishes. And I was glad because at first glance, I thought that this German cake was tiramisu or some sort of mousse. I was a bit taken aback by the taste. It was something that I fell in love with at first taste. There’s something unique in it that just blew me away. It was a dessert fit for royalty! I had to ask for the recipe and I found out that it was actually Danica who made that one. A copy of a similar recipe can be found on the next page. I hope you will enjoy eating this family dessert!

Quick Tip: This recipe for German chocolate cake calls for coconut fat. The coconut fat makes the chocolate spread evenly and first of all easy.
