BREAKING: Sweet Pineapple Baked Beans Are Bursting With Flavor!

It seems like baked beans make their appearance at every holiday dinner I’ve ever been to. However, the next holiday dinner I attend, the baked beans will be making a GRAND appearance! What will make the baked beans different, you ask? Pineapple! Oh. My. Goodness. Adding pineapple juice and chunks to baked beans is the most genius thing that I’ve ever done. You won’t believe how sweet these beans turn out.

Below, you’ll find the simple step-by-step instructions on how to make these fabulous pineapple baked beans. Note that there are only 7 ingredients in this recipe and you probably have them all in your kitchen. No runs to the grocery store. Hooray!

 

Ingredients

1 3/4 cup pineapple juice
1 cup Heinz ketchup
1/2 cup French’s mustard
1 cup Domino brown sugar

1 small sweet Vidalia onion, chopped
15 oz Dole pineapple chunks, drained
4 15oz cans Bush’s pork & beans, drained

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together first 4 ingredients. Gently stir in onion, pineapple chunks, and beans. Pour into a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
Bake 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
