You Know What SOS Stands For, Don’t You?

This Meal Brings Back So Many Memories!

I grew up in a very modest home. We had everything we needed, but with my mother staying at home and looking after 4 kids, she had to make sure our meals wouldn’t break the bank. Even though we didn’t have fancy dinners very often, all I can remember is eating delicious, home cooked food every single day.

When we would come back from school she always had dinner ready, and my friends were always jealous of that! They said their moms were working so late that they would usually just have takeout.

One of my favorite meals was the SOS meal. I never knew the meaning of those letters back then, and I guess they stand for many different things – at least that’s what I’ve been told… But I knew it was yummy and I still occasionally make it for my kids, today!

We used to have this on toast, just like OldManCooking in this awesome recipe of his, but I like it with noodles too! What’s your favorite way of enjoying this meal?

Quick Tip: Instead of toast, try serving with noodles! My favorite!
