Make This Dessert For A Crowd And Watch Everyone Line Up For Seconds

Ditch The Plate And Dig In With A Spoon!

I wonder why so many people would consider lemony desserts only for the summer? Of course, I love that refreshing, tangy flavor on a hot summer’s day, too – but I have no problem enjoying these awesome desserts all year long! This creamy, fluffy lemon delight from Carpe Diem Dona is one of my favorites.

I especially like to make this for our family gatherings; you get plenty of servings in one dish. Except, if you like this as much as I do… Then it’s more like, half the dish for me and half for the rest of the family!

Making this dessert requires some effort but the end result is totally worth it. It is an old-fashioned recipe, and you know how it is with old recipes, right? They’re always so much tastier than modern ones, at least in my opinion!

However, if you’d like to make this a little bit faster, you could get a pre-baked crust and just follow the rest of the recipe directions. I make the crust according to the recipe, and it always turns out amazing.

Quick Tip: I always use butter for the crust.
