Ripe For The Pickin’ Crock Pot Potato Soup

This creamy soup slow cooks all day long and smells amazing!

Traditionally, I like my potato soups extra creamy, but when I tried this recipe from All Recipes for the first time, I quickly changed my mind. I was at a baby shower for my cousin, and they were doing soup and sandwiches for lunch. Usually, when I hear that, I stop and grab something to eat before I get to the shower. I’m not real big on soups or sandwiches obviously, because they are never as good as my family’s traditional recipes.

On this specific occasion though, I was running short on time and there was no way I was going to be able to stop and eat and make it to the venue on time. So, I sped into my parking spot and took a place at one of the tables.

When the servers brought out this soup I thought no way possible am I going to like that. My mom, who doesn’t like anything, actually was eating hers so I figured that was a good sign. I tried mine and it was amazing!

I got the recipe and now I make this at home quite frequently. It’s always a great comfort food on a cold winter day.
