Grandma Lydia’s Savory Stuffing Recipe

When I was a little girl I always loved the holiday season, especially Thanksgiving.

I still do! My favorite part of this special day that America celebrates family and togetherness on, is the food. My mom would whip up some of the best doggone side dishes and desserts this side of the Mississippi! My most favorite dish that mom would make was her stuffing. Wowser! Was that stuff ever good! Luckily, she taught me her recipe.

Today, we are exploring another mom and daughter duo stuffing recipe. This recipe has been passed down through the generations of mothers and daughters. Would you believe that this particular stuffing recipe comes from a sweet little old lady of the bright age of 91? As they say, the more aged something is the better. That’s the case with this stuffing as it goes back to the basics of using fresh ingredients and old-fashioned methods.
