Buffalo Blue Cheese Spicy Cole Slaw – It’s Sensational!

Potlucks and BBQs all summer long get to be outfitted with this yummy slaw now that I have the recipe. Whenever I take it there are so many people that come and tell me how delicious and unique it is. I really have never had anything else like it. You can pretty much guarantee that there aren’t going to be any duplicates of this when you make it. You can bet that there aren’t going to be much to speak of when it comes to leftover either. If you do have some, they hold nicely in the refrigerator for several days. You’ll love them!

If you prefer making your own dressing, go right ahead. It’s going to taste amazing no matter what you use!

Ingredients

2 boneless chicken breasts
3 tsp Frank’s Red hot sauce
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp McCormick’s garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1 bag(s) cabbage, shredded with carrots
1 Tbsp bleu cheese crumbles
1/2 c Marzetti’s slaw dressing

Instructions

Place chicken in a ziplock bag or container. Combine the chicken, hot sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika and allow to marinate overnight.
Preheat the outdoor or indoor grill. Grill the chicken for 8 minutes turning it half way. Internal temperature should be 165 degrees. Allow chicken to rest before slicing.
In a large bowl mix the cabbage slaw with the Marzetti’s Slaw Dressing. Add a few bleu cheese crumbles to taste. After the chicken has rested chop it up and add to the slaw.
Serve as a salad or roll up with tortillas. Enjoy
