Savor The Flavor In This Smokey Cheeseburger

My son’s birthday was coming up, and he was going to be turning the bit 1-6.

He was too old to have a birthday party really, but he did want to invite a few buddies over to hang out for the day. I didn’t have any problem with that. One thing that’s nice about that age is you don’t really have to worry about them all too much. Honestly, I’d rather have them in my house where I can keep an eye on them. It gives me a few minutes to rest and breathe when I know my baby is safe at home.

I asked the birthday boy if he wanted to eat out or order in, and he requested my home cooked hamburgers. They have always been his favorite food. I learned this recipe many years ago. It was the first time I got my son to actually eat meat.

After that day, he always wanted hamburgers whenever I asked him what he wanted for dinner. I still make them about once a week to this day, but he wanted him for his birthday, so that’s when I made them that week. They were inhaled by him and his friends. I had to make them each another one!
