Chocolate Chips. Coconut, And Cream Makes A Heck Of A Mounds Candy Bar Pie!

We were having our monthly quilting party, and it was my turn to host.

Me, along with a few ladies from my church, and a couple of friends get together to work on and hopefully finish, and quilts that have been stitching up. Most of these blankets go to friends and family, but once in a while, we will sell some at craft shows. It really depends on how much we get done during the meeting. It’s amazing how much quicker we can move when we are all working together. We can bust out a few quilts in just a couple of hours.

I think part of the reason that we get so much done, besides the fact having someone to talk to is always nice, we always have really tasty desserts and snacks laying around to keep us fueled. At the marathon at my house, I made this mounds bar pie and it was AH-MAZE-ING!

This pie disappeared so quickly, it was a good thing that I had backups ready to go. I made three of them, and they were all gone by the time we left… and we got 10 quilts finished up… so we got to head to the craft store when we left. Time to replenish supplies for quilting…. and the ingredients we need for that pie!
