Growing up, my mother was an avid cake baker. She was always making cakes for our family to enjoy as well as baking for friends and neighbors. My mom was excellent at decorating the cakes. She had a real knack for frosting design. me? not so much. I can slap some frosting on a cake with a butter knife and that is about it. LOL!
I’m really glad that this recipe is easy to follow and doesn’t require any fancy footwork. Plus, since we are working with cupcakes, the frosting period is even easier. Even if my cupcakes don’t look as pretty as my mom’s they still taste amazing and that’s all that really matters, right? Right!
