Behold The Almighty Eye Of Round Roast – Succulent And Juicy!

This eye of round roast makes for a really quiet dinner without hassle on your part. You can dress it with anything too—serve it with salad, gravy, cornbread, or whatever it is you want to serve it with. Pair it with your favorite red wine and you have the best evening. Moms make the best roasts. Even as time passed by, ours still couldn’t compare. But it’s all right, I love it when Mom gets to cook for us.

So every time I have the chance to eat her home-cooked meal, I just enjoy it.

 

Ingredients

Tyson Eye of Round Roast

Cracked or Coarse Ground Pepper

Instructions

Generously pepper roast. Place in pan lined with aluminum foil or sprayed with cooking spray. Place roast in preheated 500 degree oven. bake 5 minutes per pound plus 10 minutes. Turn off oven – DO NOT OPEN OVEN for two hours. If it is a long eye of round, cut in half and place side by side in pan leaving a little space between the halves.
