When I was a little girl my mom was always baking cakes. She had a knack for baking and creating gorgeous frosting designs. I guess you could say that my mother was a cake artist. She never made any cakes professionally and everything that she baked came straight out of the family kitchen. However, people all over the community would come to my mom and hire her to make them cakes.
