Are You Ready For The Chilly Evenings?
Last night I had trouble sleeping. It was the first really chilly evening for us this fall, and I guess I just wasn’t ready to embrace the colder weather.
My feet were cold and no amount of granny square blankets were enough to make me feel comfortable. Not a nice feeling at all, especially when you know you have to get up early the next morning! Today I decided I won’t let that happen again.
I wanted to make something a little spicy and warming for dinner, and this tomato chili soup seemed perfect for it. Not only did this make me feel warm but it was absolutely delicious as well! This really is the combination of ingredients, and even though they are something you’ll most likely always have at hand, the soup turns out fit for a king!
The best part is, I think my husband loved it even more than I did! Fortunately I made a double batch so we are having this tomorrow, too. You know how it is with soups; they only get better after a day in the fridge, when all the flavors come together.
