Simply choose a cake mix and pie filling mix that tickles your fancy and there you have it!
This cake only took my about 5 minutes to prepare and then it was oven-city. It makes a wonderful weeknight dessert that your family will love. I took this cake to a church potluck one time and it was a major hit.
I used cherry pie filling and cherry chip cake mix. The flavor combination was outstanding. You can use any combination of cake mix and pie filling that you fancy.
Some other ideas would be chocolate cake mix and blackberry pie filling, yellow cake mix, and peach pie filling, or even red velvet cake mix with strawberry or raspberry pie filling. The possibilities are endless.
