Old-Fashioned Caramel Bundt Cake – Perfect For Parties!

I was able to talk to Evelyn when I finally got to visit her after finding a free time on my schedule.

I kind of felt bad that it wasn’t even a social visit, but rather a business visit. One of my partners in a project asked me to deliver a few papers to Evelyn since our client was Evelyn’s brother. And it’s the only reason I was able to see her again. Evelyn was one of my childhood friends. She didn’t belong to my group of friends, but we’re quite close. However, we lost contact during college and just managed to bridge that gap a few years ago when we bumped into each other at the local grocery.

I didn’t want to make Evelyn feel bad so I stayed for an hour even though I had a lot of things to do back then and I really should have gone back immediately. We had a bit of catching up to do so I gave myself an hour to at least ask her how she’s been doing.

We had a bit of a talk for a few minutes before she told me she knew I had to leave (whew). However, she said I should at least have something before I leave so she served me this really moist home style caramel cake.
