Bold, Juicy, And Richly Flavored: Baked Pork Chops

It was that time, and I couldn’t believe what was happening.

My youngest son out of three children was graduating from high school. It seemed like it was just a few days ago that I was wiping away my tears after dropping him off at preschool. Now I was wiping away my tears watching him walk down the aisle of his high school gym with his diploma in his hand. They were tears of joy and pride, and some of worry knowing that he was soon going to be going out on his own into the world. Before he left us though, I was going to throw him one heck of a party for his friends and our entire family.

I thought about getting someone to make the meal and bring it in, but he put in a special request for my homemade dishes. One of his all-time favorite meals is my pork chops, but for his party, I wanted to kick it up a notch.

I baked and baked all day long and kept the ones that were done in a slow cooker until it was time for dinner. They were a huge hit among all of our guests.

It was worth all of that hard work to see the happiness in my son’s eyes.
