What Goes Great With Fudge? Salty Pretzels!

Who Says Fudge Is Just For The Holidays? Not, I!

In our family, we reward the kids not with money or any material things which can be the cause of envy and jealousy, but rather with food that he or she can share with the others. In that way, the child will learn the value of sharing and not the value of material things. Just recently, Denver ended the school year with the highest honors in class. He was 7 years old, and was very studious.

He was probably the second most studious to Thomas. Everyone was used to Thomas’ achievement though including himself so he rarely asked for anything whenever he went home with a certificate of excellence. To celebrate Denver’s achievement, my cousin Joana promised to make a dessert for him. She however told him that he needed to share the dessert with the others because they would be too much for one person to eat.

Denver, despite being mischievous at times, knew that Joana was serious so he nodded. Joana made the kids salted caramel pretzel fudge which everyone absolutely loved. The fudge was chewy and gooey and the pretzel added that bit of saltiness that made it yummier. I found a similar recipe over at Two Peas and Their Pid and I am sharing it with you. I hope you will enjoy this recipe!
