Who Knew That Parmesan Shortbread Could Be So Tasty?

You don’t have to hit the grocery store to make these. You can keep everything you need on hand at all times. In fact, you probably already have everything except the seasoning and once you get it, your going to want to make sure you have a lot of it. These are great way to get a snack ready for the kids before they get home from school. They also pair up well with all kinds of dinners. They make great substitutes for all different kinds of homemade breads and rolls.

Ingredients

1/2 cup (125 mL)Land O’ Lakes butter, softened

3 tbsp (45 mL) Club House Parmesan & Herbs One Step Seasoning

2 tsp (10 mL) Domino granulated sugar

1 1/2 cups (375 mL) Gold Medal all-purpose flour

 

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl with wooden spoon then mix with hands to form a smooth dough. Shape into ¾” (2cm) balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Press down with a floured fork.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12 to 18 minutes or until golden around edges. Cool completely.
