The Easiest Slow Cooker Beef And Broccoli That You Will Ever Make!

I know that this is called beef and broccoli, but I like to add more veggies into this recipe. It’s a great way for me to get my kids to eat more vegetables so I decided to go to town with it! I added in snap peas, water chestnuts, and carrots. This made the dish taste even better. I love having a variety of vegetables in my mixture. The sauce us absolutely amazing as well. The seasoning is just on point! My kids gobbled up this delicious meal and didn’t think twice about all of the vegetables that they were eating. Such a great recipe! This is the perfect recipe to make your own Chinese take out at home!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Swanson beef broth
  • 1/4 cup Choy reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup Imperial Sugar Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 pounds boneless beef chuck roast, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Argo cornstarch
  • 2 heads broccoli, cut into florets

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil and garlic.
  2. Place beef into a 6-qt slow cooker. Add sauce mixture and gently toss to combine. Cover and cook on low heat for 90 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup water and cornstarch.
  4. Stir in cornstarch mixture and broccoli into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high heat for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
