My grand children were coming over for a visit, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Even though they are busy little bees, I don’t get to see them often, so I take them every chance that I can get. Whenever they come, I always try and spoil them in only a way a Grandma can. One way that my Grandma used to do that, was by making fresh desserts for our visits. Mom’s hardly ever make desserts, because they are simply too busy with everything else that has to be done.
I wanted to make something that none of us had ever tried before, so these berry crumble bars from Julie’s Eats & Treats were going to be it. I was really excited to try them out. I love to bake, so any recipe that is fun is one I am going to make again and again.
Even though there were several steps to this recipe and quite a few ingredients, it fell into the fun to make category for sure. My grand kids loved them so I know that we are going to be having these again the next time that they come and see me.
