I’m Not Waiting For A BBQ… I’m Making This Right Now!

I had to have my sister write down the recipe for me, so that I could make it for the events that she wasn’t going to be at. That’s one of our unspoken rules kind of. We can use each other’s recipes, but never when we are both going to be there. I can’t wait to use this at all my friend’s summer BBQs this year. I know that sister will be making it for the family reunion, because she wants everyone to get a taste. I just hope that she makes a great big batch, because it’s going to go fast!

Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at All Recipes:

“Anybody who doesn’t like broccoli will change their mind upon taking their first bite.”

I love broccoli already, but bacon makes everything taste better, doesn’t it?

1 small red onion, chopped

12 slices Hormel cooked bacon, crumbled

1 cup raisins

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

Dressing:

1/2 cup Hellmann’s mayonnaise

1/3 cup Domino white sugar

3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

Instructions

Combine broccoli, onion, bacon, raisins, and sunflower seeds in a bowl.

Whisk mayonnaise, sugar, and red wine vinegar together in a bowl until dressing is smooth; pour over broccoli mixture and stir to coat.
