This Is The Most Tender Swiss Steak You’re Ever Going To Make

Anytime my husband can sink his teeth into a big ol’ hunk of meat, he’s a very happy man. Every time we go out to eat, he has to have a steak. We don’t even go into restaurants that don’t offer steak anymore because he just leaves disappointed. So, when I get the opportunity, I try to make an affordable alternative to his favorite dish at home. In the summer, once in a while I will surprise him with a nice cut cooked on the grill, but that isn’t always in the budget.

When I found this recipe on Spend With Pennies for a round salisbury steak, the first thing that came to my mind was how affordable it was going to be to make. A lot of the spices and other ingredients I already had at home, so I just had to pick up the meat.

I waited anxiously as it cooked and watched even more anxiously to see if the hubby liked it. When his eyebrows went up and he nodded in approval with a big mouthful, I let my air out and knew that it was a success.
