These Pigs In A Blanket Pack Something A Lil’ Extra

I used to make my kids pigs in a blanket all the time. They loved those little bites of hot dog and crescent roll. They were so easy to make, I didn’t mind whipping them up for a light meal or afternoon snack pretty much whenever they requested them. I knew to keep all the ingredients on hand, because they ate them a few times a week. They were nice to have around when they had extra kids follow them home too. Way better than eating a bunch of junk food.

They don’t eat pigs in a blanket anymore though. No, they aren’t too old. They didn’t stop liking them either, but now, they eat pizza piggies! I found this recipe on Small Town Woman and just had to try it out. It actually sounded pretty good, and I never eat the traditional kind.

When I was assembling these bad boys, I was kind of annoyed that it took a bit longer, but after taking a bite, it made everything worth it. Now me and the kids can share a snack!
