Time To Go Nuts For These Peanut Butter And Jelly Bars!

I have a love for peanut butter and jelly. I used to eat it all the time as a child and now I make them for my children. Well, I used to at least. Now my kid are grown up and don’t really prefer them the same way that they did when they were little kids watching Sesame Street. But if I gave them a sandwich they would not complain and would eat it up. I mean it’s a classic!

I on the other hand could eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at any time of the day and be perfectly happy. That duo is the best one there is! It’s like mac and cheese, you just can’t go wrong when you combine the two.

The other week I was trying to think of a dessert that I needed to make and take to my daughters cheerleading competition. I needed to make something that would make a lot too!

I had a bunch of hungry girls to feed and parents too! Now I didn’t want to make anything heavy, but I wanted it to be satisfying and small. I knew that bars were the answer. But what kind of bars? Then it hit me! Peanut butter and jelly bars! I had made these once before and new that they were delicious.

I was right! The cheerleading team loved these bars and so did the parents.
