I Bet You’ve Never Seen Cabbage Rolls Done Like This

This is another one of those super simple, set it and forget it recipes. Anything in the slow cooker is always a special treat for me. Then, I don’t have to worry about making dinner when the time comes to eat. It’s already done and ready to go. Cabbage rolls are my husband’s favorite food and he loves these things more than he loves me some days I think. My kids actually like these too, and they never eat any veggies. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at All Recipes:

“THEY WERE AWESOME, I THINK THE BEST I EVER MADE.”

12 leaves cabbage

1 cup Uncle Ben’s cooked white rice

1 egg, beaten

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup minced onion

1 pound extra-lean ground beef

1 tablespoon Domino brown sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

In large bowl, combine 1 cup cooked rice, egg, milk, onion, ground beef, salt, and pepper. Place about 1/4 cup of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf, and roll up, tucking in ends. Place rolls in slow cooker.

In a small bowl, mix together tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls.
