An Old Childhood Favorite

Good ol’ fashioned peanut butter and jelly… what’s not to love about that? Whenever my kids pull the, “I’m starving!’ line on me before a meal, I always tell them to eat a peanut butter and jelly. It’s just enough to fill them up, but so much better than snacking on a bunch of chips or cookies. Even when I get a little hunger pain in between meals, I will create my own peanut butter and jelly tradition of deliciousness. I’m pretty sure there is even a national peanut butter and jelly sandwich day now.

Peanut butter and jelly stromboli on the other hand, now that’s something I’ve never thought of. I saw a recipe for it on All Recipes not too long ago, and I just had to give it a try. Who would of thought of mixing those two things together? Certainly not me.

Surprisingly enough, it was really good. Me and the kids just ate it one night when the hubby was out of town and it went over really well. Now we have it for a snack regularly, or sometimes even a light lunch!
