How Can You Go Wrong With Bacon Wrapped, Cream Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast

If you are making these for the kiddos, you are going to want to make sure to get rid of the rinds and seeds in your jalapeno, otherwise it may just be a little bit too spicy for them. When I am making these for just me and the hubby, I leave those parts in, we like the extra heat! If you aren’t familiar with cooking with jalapenos, I am going to suggest right now that you wear gloves when handing them, you don’t want any part of it on your skin, or in your eyes. Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at BigOven:

“A wonderful flavor-filled meal that really fills you up.”

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 ounces Philadelphia Cream cheese
1/4 cup green onions; chopped
8 slices Hormel bacon; partially cooked
1 medium Jalapeno peppers; diced

Instructions

Pound out Chicken breasts so it is about 1/4″ thick.

Mix together cream cheese and green onions and spread cheese mixture over 1 side of chicken breast. Optionally add some diced jalepeno pepper into the cream cheese as well.

Roll Chicken breast up to conceal cream cheese.

Wrap partially cooked bacon around chicken breast and secure with toothpick.

Place on grill for about 30 minutes at 375(F).

Broil for about 5 minute to crisp bacon.
