Easy Peasy Cheesy and Creamy Spinach Casserole

This spinach casserole is super easy to make. In fact it takes longer to bake in the oven then it does to prep.  Which works out perfect for my life! I am always on the go, but I still love to make delicious food. I am not only thankful that my mother made such terrific dishes, but that she was time savvy with it as well! Try out this wonderful casserole and you will find yourself making it again!

This recipe is the perfect dish to take to a social or family gathering. Everyone will gobble it up!

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) package Great Value cottage cheese

 1/2 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1/4 cup Daisy sour cream
2 teaspoons Morton salt
1/2 teaspoon McCormick’s ground black pepper
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
cups shredded Kraft Cheddar cheese, divided

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Place cottage cheese, eggs, flour, sour cream, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Process until smooth. Mix spinach, cottage cheese mixture, and 2 cups of Cheddar cheese in a bowl, then spread into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Top with the remaining 2 cups of Cheddar cheese and continue baking until cheese has melted, about 10 minutes.
