All You Need Is One Pot To Make This Lightnin’ Fast Dinner

Grandma was a master in the kitchen. She knew how to take basically nothing and turn it into something really special. I used to love watching her cook. She would toss in a little of this and a bit of that, a dash of this, and a splash of that, and bam! Dinner was done. She used to make something that she called a chili mac and cheese that was one of my favorite foods ever. It was like chili and macaroni and cheese got together and had a baby.

It looked a lot like this recipe from All Recipes. She could do the whole thing in one pot too, which was good for me, because I usually helped with the dishes. We only had one pan and a few bowls and dinner was over. It’s a dish that I make at home for my family all the time now.

It may be a little bit old school, but they appreciate homestyle cooking just as much as I do. It’s so simple to make, and the ingredients are really affordable. It’s a great go-to when I’m struggling for what to do for dinner. Try it out and see!

Quick Tip: More broth can be added if it evaporates before the pasta is fully cooked.
