Did You Know Your Trusty Ol’ Cast Iron Skillet Can Make THIS?

Without A Doubt, The Tastiest Pizza We’ve Ever Had

Just a few years ago I didn’t have a cast iron skillet. I was all for the non-stick ones, not understanding why anyone would want to use an “ancient” skillet that weighs a ton. At the same time, I was wondering how my mother and grandmother always made the most delicious pancakes, gravy and – well, anything, even though they were using the same ingredients I was.

I finally decided to give cast iron a try when I found a small, rusty skillet at a local flea market. Plus, I was tired of replacing my non-stick skillets every year – it seemed like they never lasted long, even when there was a 10-year guarantee. And now I would never go back again!

Even though I’ve realized cast iron skillets are incredibly useful for all kinds of meals, I had never thought of making pizza this way. I’m so glad my friend told me about this – it turned out amazing!
