Perk Up Your Party With Pecan Cream Cheese Spread

If you love dips, this is the one for you.  It is different, creamy and tasty all at the same time.  It is a holiday treat and one that you might want to enjoy year round.  Take my word for this.  You will want to have this at every single one of those parties you have, whether you are hosting or taking somewhere.  I sometimes make this dip just for my family and me to enjoy on movie nights.

Ingredients

8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese at room temperature

1 teaspoon grated white or yellow onion

1 teaspoon minced garlic

¼ cup Land O’ Lakes butter

¼ cup packed Domino brown sugar

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

½ teaspoon prepared brown mustard

1 cup finely chopped Diamond pecans

Instructions

Toast Diamond pecans on medium until fragrant.

In a small bowl, combine Philadelphia cream cheese, onion, and garlic.

Spoon onto a serving platter into a 6 or 7 inch round disc

In a saucepan, combine Land O’ Lakes butter, Domino brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.

Cook on medium-low heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and stir in pecans.

Cool slightly before spooning over cream cheese mixture.

Serve warm or at room temperature with your favorite crackers
