Luau Perfect! Dance Your Way To This Hawaiian Kahlua Pork

My Hawaii dreams will probably come true in a few months- hopefully. If my husband will be able to do some magic (meaning he can arrange his schedule), we will be going to Hawaii during summer. I am still praying for that to happen because it’s one of our dream destinations with the kids. They will love that paradise, I am sure of it. The island of Hawaii is too perfect for us. The only thing left for us to do is enjoy the place with each other. Family vacations are the best- I can only hope they happen all the time.

Speaking of Hawaii, my husband and I have fallen in love with a Hawaiian dish that we first tasted at our friend’s house. The theme of her party was Luau, and she had all kinds of Luau food that time. One of the best food I ever tasted was this pork recipe called kalua pork.

Kalua pork can be eaten in a lot of ways, but my favorite way of enjoying it is just simple- with rice and with a fruity dessert. Well, it’s Hawaiian food. You want to eat it with fresh fruits to give you that tropical feel.

You can find the full copy of this simple recipe on the next page. When I say simple, I really mean simple- you don’t have to slave around all day in the kitchen for this.

Quick Tip: If you don’t the Hawaiian salt in your local grocery, you can find it online. Or you can just substitute kosher salt for it.
