Savory Shrimp And Corn Chowder… Who Wants Another Order?

My family loves seafood a lot. My husband will always bring us to this seafood restaurant once a month wherein we’ll shop for the seafood that we like and the chefs will cook them for us.  My sons love doing the shopping because they love watching the sea creatures in the aquariums. They are always so enthusiastic whenever they see the swimming creatures. My sons favorite seafood is the shrimp. They will eat anything that has shrimp on it.

One of my sons’ favorite shrimp recipe is chowder. Actually, all of us in the family love shrimp chowder. We love the flavor of this seafood combined with the other flavors.

I have a recipe at home for different kinds of chowders. I usually make them whenever the weather is cold or whenever my husband requests for something warm when he gets home. The perfect choice is a chowder because it’s thicker than regular soups and it’s rich too, something that will take away anyone’s tiredness.

We usually pair our chowder with homemade bread. I also make salad so we can have some greens along with it. We will always have an amazing dinner with just those three on the table.

If you want a copy of this recipe to try for your family, don’t hesitate to grab one on the next page. It contains the list of all ingredients and instructions for this chowder. I hope you enjoy this with your family!

Quick Tip: The roux will give the soup body, so if you want to skip the potatoes, try parsnips or cauliflower and add another five to seven minutes to the cooking time so they cook through.
