Sugar Rush Is Not A Problem With These Sweet Cookie Bars

Everyone loves sugar cookies. When I was a kid, I helped my Mom make them. She always made a few batches that she would give to some of our neighbors. That’s a bit normal in our neighborhood. We always gave each other cookies, cakes, and pies. It always felt as if we’re in Dessert Land because almost every day, my Mom received a sweet treat from one of our neighbors. In return, she always made them sweet treats too. It was like a regular exchange of goodies.

Sugar cookies take a lot of effort and a lot of time to prepare. You have to roll and cut, and do some other things that require a lot of your time. I don’t have that luxury during the weekdays.

This sugar cookie bar recipe from Creations By Kara tastes like sugar cookies, but far easier to make. Since it’s a bar, there is no need for rolling and cutting. You can make this in about half the time it will take you for sugar cookies.

I use the regular cream cheese frosting for this recipe, but if you want to experiment and use other frosting, go ahead. This is a flexible dessert, at least when it came to frosting. You can try what you want with it.
