Even Cookie Monster Will Get Jealous Over This Pie Recipe!

I made this for my family one cold afternoon. My husband and my kids were all in the kitchen, doing their thing; while I’m making this for them. The smell inside the kitchen was so aromatic we didn’t want to leave even until we finished eating dinner. That’s what a sweet chocolaty smell does to all of us. It entices us and leaves us floating on air. But of course they love the taste too! They keep requesting for this amazing pie recipe!

And nothing sounds more sinful than that. A cookie by itself is already a satisfying dessert; transform it into a pie and you have your drool-worthy concoction with you! Who can even say no to this?

 

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggland’s eggs
  • 1/2 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. Domino sugar
  • 1/2 c. Domino brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. Land O Lakes butter
  • 1 c. Toll House chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped Fisher walnuts
  • 1 Keebler refrigerated pie crust
  • vanilla ice cream

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a large bowl, beat eggs until pale yellow and foamy, 2 to 3 minutes. Add flour, sugars, and softened butter and mix until combined and fluffy. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  2. Grease a pie dish with cooking spray. Add refrigerated pie crust and fold up edges. Add cookie mixture and pat down to cover crust.
  3. Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean and crust is golden, 55 minutes to 1 hour.
