Whip Up This Berry Vanilla Cake That’s Easy To Make!

My kids love berries so much. Even if a particular berry is not in season, they still crave for it. As a mom, I prefer it that they love snacking on berries. These fruits are so much healthier than sweets or those packs of potato chips that we adults love munching on. They can go a bit messy though as they mostly eat with their hands still. After one berry… I mean very messy snacking, I always need to give them a bath.

My husband is always ready with a camera. We always document even the simplest thing in our kids’ lives. We might be called doting parents, but we really do want to have these memories stored for them to view one day.

One weekend afternoon, while my boys (including the big boy) are watching an animated film on television, I sneaked into the kitchen to make something for them. Peaceful moments rarely happen, and I want them to always have a memorable one every time. What’s better than to make something that will keep their stomachs happy?

Yes, food; or more particularly, dessert. So I made them this berry vanilla cake that was so simple to make. I didn’t have to stay that long in the kitchen just to give them this particular dessert.

This cake is sweet and fresh at the same time. You wouldn’t want anything else after this!

Quick Tip: If you use larger berries like strawberries, I recommend quartering them so that they’re about the size of smaller berries like raspberries.
